Mitchell Hawkins
Co-Founder
A U.S. Navy veteran and occupational therapy master's student, Mitchell helped found Care First of San Jose with the goal of addressing some of the critical needs of homeless adults in San Jose. Mitchell hopes to blend the dedication to service he learned in the Navy with the skills to facilitate meaningful occupations he has gained during his master's degree. His vision for Care First of San Jose is for it to grow into a non-profit organization that will address human rights issues and provide occupational therapy services for homeless adults.

Niki Anudokem
Co-Founder
A master's student of the joint MSPAS/MPH program at Touro University, Niki helped found Care First of San Jose to bring a public health perspective to the problems faced by homeless adults in San Jose. Niki hopes that this charity organization will one day flourish into a non-profit as a stepping stone to help care for the homeless community of the south bay. It is her goal as a Physician Associate in training to one day provide care for the underserved community in the greater bay area.
